At Thanksgiving, Heartland Hope Mission provides families with a turkey or ham and all the fixings to prepare a holiday feast at home.

Our Hope-Filled Christmas program pairs families in need through our Adopt-A-Family program. Parents can register to receive brand new gifts for their children, along with wrapping paper, stocking stuffers and a holiday meal pantry.

Yes, you must register IN-PERSON for a Thanksgiving pantry.

Remember one Thanksgiving pantry per address. Duplicate entries will not be honored. 

Yes! You are still eligible to receive a regular pantry before Thanksgiving pantry distribution begins. For regular pantry hours, click here.

Remember! You must be the parent or legal guardian to register your children aged birth-17. The child you are registering must not be enrolled in any other Christmas gift program.

This Thanksgiving, we will provide over 6,000 people with a holiday pantry! Please help our neighbors in need by making a donation today. $40 provides 1 family with all the holiday fixings including: turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, gravy, mac & cheese, corn, green bean casserole ingredients, milk, rolls, and pie to prepare a Thanksgiving meal at home.

Online: All IDs must be submitted through the online application form. Once IDs have been verified by HHM staff, you will receive a confirmation email with your confirmation number. Please allow 10-12 business days to receive your confirmation email (check your spam folder if you haven’t received anything.) BRING YOUR CONFIRMATION NUMBER (found in email) & ID to pick-up gifts for your children.

In-Person: If you registered in person and had all your IDs verified, bring the card you were given at time of registration. This card will show your confirmation number.  

Yes! If you’re unable to pick-up gifts for your child, you may send a trusted family member or friend to pick them up for you. All the person needs to bring is their ID and the confirmation number you received after registering.

Sadly, for some parents in our own community, providing gifts and a holiday meal for their kids will be even more difficult than ever due to job loss or financial crisis situations.

Registration to receive gifts for your children opens November 1st!

1. Online: Online registration closes on Tuesday, Nov. 23. Register here.

2. In-Person: All in-person registration will take place indoors at our South O location – 2021 U St. Omaha, NE

Registration will be open throughout all our REGULAR pantry hours.
