Stuff a Truck is Heartland Hope Mission’s annual food drive that raises a semi-truck load of food for the working poor.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: September 5, 2019
Omaha, NE, Heartland Hope Mission’s largest food donation of the year is scheduled for delivery 8:00 AM on Thursday, 9/5 at 2021 U Street, Omaha NE. Customers from Hy-Vee Food Stores donated an essential amount of food items for the pantry’s busiest time of year-Thanksgiving and Christmas. The food is distributed to families in need at Heartland Hope Mission’s South Omaha and Millard locations. We are so thankful to Hy-Vee and the generosity of the Omaha community. Together we were able to raise $42,634.00 worth of food. That is equivalent to enough groceries for families to prepare 14,069 meals. This food will help us serve working poor families as we enter our busiest season of the year. Thank you again!
