At Heartland Hope Mission, we realize that food insecurity is often a symptom of a larger problem. Our organization provides financial classes, employment resources and community referrals to help our clients rise above poverty and economic crisis.
The ability to earn a living wage is critical to families becoming self-sufficient. Our Job Paths program works to help clients overcome barriers to employment and find job, training or education opportunities. Heartland Hope Mission invites several business that are in high demand of employees, to come to our facility and provide employment information for clients. On-site interviews are conducted and help with the application process is provided.
Financial classes are available to help families learn proper money management. Classes are offered: to make a monthly spending plan; how to manage cash flow; and provides financial coaching.
