AREAS WE HAVE SERVED

Homelessness & Hunger Prevention Program

Our Homelessness and Hunger Prevention Program provides assistance in the form of a week’s supply of food, as well as clothing, personal hygiene products, diapers, and household items to individuals and families in need in the Omaha metropolitan area. All persons completing a request for first-time assistance are eligible to receive services. Screening for other assistance programs is available for applicants.

Job
Paths

The most requested need by our clients is employment -whether that be finding a job, needing a higher paying job, or for supplemental income. Through our Job Paths Program, local employers come on site during pantry times to interview clients, provide application assistance or provide information about open positions. Clients also have access to an up-to-date jobs board.

Holiday
Assistance

At Thanksgiving, Heartland Hope Mission provides families with a turkey or ham and all the fixings for a holiday feast.

At Hope-Filled Christmas, parents can register to receive brand new toys for their children, along with wrapping paper, stocking stuffers and a holiday meal pantry. Generous donors through our Adopt-A-Family program help make this possible.
